For the musical Hip-Hop Cinderella at the Nashville Children's Theatre (April 13. - May 21, 2023), I participated in the first steps of the floor paint treatment, would later be partly sprayed with grey paint by the Scenic Charge, Rachael Silverman.
For the musical Hip-Hop Cinderella at the Nashville Children's Theatre (April 13. - May 21, 2023), I participated in the first steps of the floor paint treatment, would later be partly sprayed with grey paint by the Scenic Charge, Rachael Silverman.
In addition to painting the floor, I also participated in the making of the geometric scenery as seen in the images above. This process involved a papier-mâché technique applied to foam structures using newspaper and a mixture of roof-coating and joint compound, followed by a vigorous sanding process and finished with two layers of grey paint.
